WRITE SHIT DOWN ✍🏼 Honestly, emptying whatever is going on in your head onto paper can be so therapeutic. I’ve kept a diary for 15 years and I love it; going back and reading past entries really makes you realise how negative thoughts, feelings and worries do pass, even if they feel all-consuming at the time (it’s also highly entertaining reading the entries of 7 year-old Saskia)😁 THE BENEFITS: Keeping a journal has been found to help reduce stress, increase productivity, sharpen memory and enhance self-awareness, emotional functions and the ability to empathise.
It can also be a great way of tracking negative thought patterns and behaviours.
I highly recommend it🤗 In my Relax and Reset class this evening, we’ll be doing a short journaling session after our yoga practice...so if you’re coming along, remember to bring a notebook and your favourite pen! 19:00-20:00, Manor Barn (CT1 3UR). See you there!
RELAX & RESET: Restorative evening yoga flow and journaling session💛
Our lives seem to be busier than ever before meaning it has become increasingly hard to switch off and take time out for ourselves.
I wanted to create a class focusing purely on self-care; Relax and Reset will consist of a restorative yoga flow (aiming to release areas of tension in the body), breath-work and a short journaling session where we will work on different exercises each week in order to promote feelings of gratitude, positivity and contentment🌟
The class will be held at the beautiful Manor Barn studio, tucked away in the countryside just outside of Wincheap, Canterbury. (see directions here)
Traveling by car: free parking outside the barn.
Walking: 15 minute walk from Morrisons in Wincheap
Mats are provided, all you need to bring is a journal or notebook and your favourite pen!
£9.00 PER CLASS (cash or bank transfer)

HELLO JULY 🌞 Around the first of each month (I usually do it on the evening of new moon but you don’t have to be as precise/ weird as me🌝) I set 2-3 positive intentions for the next four weeks.
I can get overwhelmed quite easily and often try to do too many things at once, so I have found this little ritual to be so useful in helping me focus my mind. Your intentions can be anything (for example, trying a new fitness class or spending more time with family) but try to keep them positive, realistic and from a place of kindness.
Why not give it a go for July… 💛Start with writing a list of 3-5 things you are grateful for right now. 💛Write a list of all the things that went well last month. 💛Write down 2-3 intentions for the new month (don’t go overboard and write millions of things, then it just becomes a To-Do list). 💛Write down how/what you are going to do to turn your intentions into actions.
And remember, TWO classes this evening...
Vinyasa Flow 6-7pm
Introduction to Yoga Nidra 7-8pm
See you there🙏🏼
